Two types of subject:

- Thesis offers within the ED campaign: For these subjects, a recruitment campaign is organized each year, to award doctoral contracts with the University of Limoges or with organizations that have delegated recruitment to the ED (CNRS).

- thesis offers outside the ED campaign: for these subjects, recruitment (audition by the ED) is organized on an ad hoc basis.
