Inauguration of the new I3M joint laboratory (XLIM-SIEMENS-LMA)

On June 28, 2019, SIEMENS Healthineers France, the XLIM Research Institute UMR7252 and the Laboratory of Mathematics and Applications (LMA) UMR7348 inaugurated the I3M Joint Laboratory "Multi-core Multi-core Metabolic Imaging".

CNRS OPENS CNRS@CREATE IN SINGAPORE, ITS FIRST SUBSIDIARY ABROAD

The success of his broad scientific presence in Singapore the CNRS has established CNRS@CREATE to drive new collaborations research and innovation between the CNRS and Singapore. Dominique Baillargeat was appointed Scientific Executive Director of CNRS@CREATE, subsidiary of the CNRS from abroad.

A work on the diffusion of light

"When the material diffuses the light": This interdisciplinary work, in which 40 authors have participated, provides a panorama of knowledge on the diffusion of light at the macroscopic scale, on the surface or in volume. Researchers from the XLIM Institute contributed to this.

XLIM congratulates Pierre Blondy for his appointment to the IEEE Fellow Grade "For contributions to radio frequency microelectromechanical systems".

The University of Limoges imposes itself on the international scene with an Erasmus Master in optical electronics

The official launch ceremony of the EMIMEO Erasmus Mundus Master took place on Thursday 11 April 2019 at XLIM. This ceremony was an opportunity to meet the project partners and discuss the implementation of this first Erasmus Mundus Master, in coordination with the University of Limoges.

New state-of-the-art equipment shared by XLIM and IRCER laboratories

The XLIM and IRCER laboratories organized a demonstration day of the ZEISS Crossbeam 550 microscope on Thursday, April 04, 2019. This equipment was acquired by the two laboratories under the CPER and is part of the development of their joint activities carried out by the Labex Sigma-LIM.
